The unicorns were a canadian rock band from montreal quebec canada formed in 2000 by nicholas thorburn nick diamonds and alden penner alden ginger who were later joined by jamie thompson j aime tambeur in december 2003. It sounds amazing and i love the packaging.

It has since been repressed in limited quantities on pink and brown vinyl by alien8 and was re released on august 26 2014 on the band s own label caterpillar records.

I m not sure if it s just the unicorns love of messing with their audience or a mistake but the labels on the vinyl are on the opposite sides that they should be and the black vinyl doesn t show up it looks like a black bit of vinyl pressed between two pink layers. 2014 an ep by the unicorns. The ep is not their best work since a few of the four tracks aren t quite as good as they could have been but it s a pleasant short listen.
