Tighten toilet to floor.

This is not uncommon. As long as your loose toilet doesn t have a broken flange you can usually tighten the bolts with a crescent wrench to resolve the problem but don t overdo it or the porcelain may break. Check the flange bolt at each side of the toilet using a pair of pliers or a small wrench. If a bolt is loose tighten it slowly just until it is snug.

Sit on the toilet and transfer your weight in all directions to help seat the wax ring correctly. Stop tightening once the toilet sits securely.
